The pneumatic diaphragm pump is a new type of conveying equipment and is the most
innovative pump in China. Using compressed air as the power source, for various corrosive
liquids, liquid with particles, high viscosity, volatile, flammable, highly toxic liquid, all of them
can be sucked up.
There are six specifications for diaphragm pumps. The inlet and outlet dimensions are 1/4′′,
1/2′′, 3/4′′, 1′′, 1.5′′, 2′′, 3′′, 4′′, and the fluid component materials are aluminum alloy, ductile iron,
polypropylene, stainless steel. According to different diaphragms and to meet the needs of
different liquid medias,the diaphragms materials are nitrile rubber, neoprene, polyethylene, three
rubber, polyether rubber, fluororubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, and polyvinylidene fluoride.

Low Pressure Diaphragm Pump Main Advantages

The working principle of the pneumatic diaphragm pump: in the two symmetric working
chambers of the diaphragm pump, each is equipped with a flexible diaphragm. The connecting rod
connects the two diaphragms into one body, and the compressed air enters the intermediate body
from the inlet joint of the pump and pushes the diaphragm in the two working chambers and
drives the diaphragms of the connecting rods to move synchronously. At the same time, the gas in
the other working chamber exits the pump from the back of its diaphragm. When the piston
reaches the end of the stroke, the valve mechanism automatically draws the compressed air into
another chamber, pushing the diaphragm pump to move in the opposite direction, thus forming a
synchronous reciprocating motion of the two diaphragms. Two one-way ball valves are arranged
in each working chamber, and the reciprocating motion of the diaphragm causes a change in the
inner volume of the working chamber, forcing the two one-way ball valves to alternately open and
close, thereby continuously inhaling and discharging the liquid.
The most obvious difference between pneumatic diaphragm pumps and other diaphragm
pumps is the distributing valve structure. The pneumatic diaphragm pump valve structure cancels
the distributing valve of traditional "O" ring and cylindrical valve structure. Three - way pilot is
adopted to eliminate valve dead point and pump shutdown phenomenon. Providing proper and
reliable reversing signals to avoid downtime and faster reversing for greater pump flow, providing
delivery performance for smaller pulses and more stable flow.
The pneumatic diaphragm pump uses a simple and highly reliable air reversing valve to
ensure no downtime to avoid costly shutdown costs. All air valve components can be replaced
without disassembling the part of fluid. The aluminum parts are specially treated to resist

Troubleshooting guidance
1.Air outlet has fluid when pumping
Check if the diaphragm be damaged
Check if the diaphragm bolts loosening

Check the suction pipe joints are well sealed

Check the ring between fluid inlet and fluid cap are with O-ring
